What
is Electronic Claims Processing?
Electronic Claims is a paperless means of submitting medical insurance
claims directly form the medical provider’s computer. Claims Direct
allows the computer operator to enter and edit the claims data, create
a “file” containing that data, and then, using a modem, transmit
the file to the carrier via telephone lines. |

Will Claims Direct Integrate with
Practice Management Software?
Claims Direct can be used as a stand-alone program to create and transmit
claims. The program also comes with an import module that allows the
program to link with any Practice Management software package. Import
modules are available in fixed record (claim) and NSF formats. See
